Dear Club Presidents

Greetings to you and your Club Members

As you are aware that. I have taken over the responsibilities of Fiscal Agent for Dist 3271 and 3272 w.e.f. 1st Feb 2011.

You must have received the SAR’s for the period 1st Jan to 30th June 2011.

I would like to stress on a few things which you are probably aware of.

1- Semi annual dues invoice is raised based on membership data available in RI records on week prior to the issuing date. Please adjust the number as necessary and recalculate the invoice amount (except pro-rata billing). To ensure proper recording to your account, please return your SAR with member ship changes promptly. The worksheet must indicate club name, club number, number of members, number of subscriptions for “The Rotarian” duly certified and signed by current club president and secretary. This information is needed by RI to adjust Semi annual dues and to meet SAR submission requirement.

2- While making payment , make sure you make the necessary corrections with regard to your Membership and send the Pay Order or Demand Draft payable to Rotary International along with the Original Copy of the SAR to my office. In case you send the Original Copy to the South Asia Office in New Dehli, then send me a copy along with the payment. I shall send you the receipt in due Course.

3- Remember if you do not make the necessary correction of the membership, and pay less than the amount claimed by R.I. in the SAR, the balance will be shown as outstanding and it will take quite a bit of time and effort to sort out and even might result into Suspension leading to Termination of your Club as per Rules of RI.

4- In case you have not received the SAR please contact your Dist Governor or Asst. Governor of your Zone.

I shall always be available to assist and guide you but remember my job is only to Collect payments on behalf of RI &TRF and report to Head Quarter.
