World Polio Day, 24 October, provides clubs and districts with an ideal opportunity to hold their major project of the year in support of polio eradication. Strategies include involving new members, new clubs, the family of Rotary, and the general public. Now is the time to start planning.

For ideas, see what clubs did on World Polio Day in 2009 and learn about possible fundraisers.

We are already invovled in the End polio Now project.We will hold special meeting at this day and have a polio walk at this day in the rural area of Islamabad .All the members of Rotary club Of Islamabad MArgalla fully committed to continue this project and we are ready to hold seminar and polio walk and more polio camps and we will do it.

ROTARY CLUB OF ISLAMABAD MARGALLA DISTT 3272 PAKISTAN & AFHGHANISTAN IS ARRANGING A POLIO WALK FROM CAPITAL PUBLIC SCHOOL SIMLY DAM ROAD TO FIZAHIA CHOWK..ALL THE ROTARIANS ARE INVITED AT 1100HRS.HOPE THAT STUDENTS,ROTARIANS,AND LOCAL COMMUNITY FROM THAT AREA WILL ALSO PARTICPATE IN IT.POLIO DAY CELEBRATIONS WILL BE FOR TWO HOURS INCLUDING WALK AND POLIO AWARENESS SPEECHES BY PRESIDENT NAFEESA KHATTAK AND CHAIRMAN POLIO PLUS COMITTEE AND SOME OTHER ROTARIANS..
