The meeting of Rotary Club of Islamabad Cosmopolitan held on 29th July2010 was the handing over ceremony. President Ahsan ul Haq and Secretary Shakil Ansari escorted the Chief Guest H.E Alfredo Leoni Ambassador of Brazil in Pakistan to the head table. A large number of Rotarians of clubs from Rawalpindi and Islamabad were present.
President explained the main purpose of the meeting i.e change of leadership of the club and handing over of the functions to the new management. He also explained the work performed by the club during his tenure as the President. Past District Governor Shakil Ansari took over as the President and Rtn Rashid Ibrahim took over as the Secretary for the term 2010-2011.
H.E Alfredo Leoni gave the collar and the club charter to the New President. Chief Guest delivered a speech and expressed his satisfaction on the work being conducted by the club.
The Club Mementos were presented to the chief guest H.E. Alfredo Leoni and to the outgoing President Ansan ul Haq by President Shakil Ansari.
H.E. Alfredo Loeni was Inducted as the Hon. Member of Rotary Club Of Islamabad Cosmopolitan.
