
The Rotary Club of Rawalpindi Rawal and the Humanity Trust organized a General and Medical Camp for the flood affectees at Charsaddah (Khyber Pakhtoonkhuwah) on the 21st of August, 2010.
A team of 40 physicians along with supplies valuing up to Rs. 600,000 were being carried along. The supplies included water bottles, gallons of water, medicine, clothing for women, men and children, cooking utensils and dry food items.
The District Courts of Charsaddah and the Rotary Club of Amir-ul-Mulk Khan collaborated in the execution of the camp whereby a senior District Judge facilitated the availability of the camp location.
The camp was conducted in two phases:
PHASE-I: Camp at District Courts Charsaddah
PHASE II: Facilitation at “Deri”-a sub-urban village of CHARSADDAH.
PHASE-I: CAMP AT DISTRICT COURTS CHARSADDAH
The camp was initiated at the District Courts where free medical consultancy and medication was given to the flood affected people. Moreover, supplies such as food, shoes, clothing and cooking utensils were being provided. Prospective patients were also vaccinated against Tetanus.

Visit of the District Leadership:
The District Governor Rtn. Shehzad Ahmed, DGE Rtn. Pervez Ahsan and Deputy Governor Rtn. Haji Iftikhar visited the camp. The DGE Rtn. Pervez Ahsan Khan provided the camp with 2 cartons of ORS and 1 Carton of Insect Repellant medication.
Nearly 430 flood affectees were facilitated in this camp.
PHASE II: FACILITATION AT “DERI”-A SUB-URBAN VILLAGE OF CHARSADDAH
The team of Rotary Club of Rawalpindi Rawal headed 25 km ahead of District Courts Charsaddah to the suburban village called “DERI”. The villagers were facilitated the same way and were provided with medicinal as well as utilities supplies.
Nearly 500 flood affectees were facilitated in Phase II of the camp.
