Dear Community Builder Presidents and Rotary Leaders,
The clubs in the District, in accordance with Article 8 of Bylaws of Rotary International, are hereby called to nominate a qualified Past District Governor of any club in the district for representative to Council on Legislation (COL) where such Rotarian has indicated a willingness and ability to serve. The club shall certify such nomination in writing which shall reach DG Shehzad Ahmed at the District Secretariat, 242-B Shalimar Lane, Cavalry Grounds Extension, Lahore Cantt on or before 5.00 pm February 20, 2011. Such certification must include the signatures of the Club President and Secretary.
Elections will be held at the District Conference on March 27, 2011.
The candidate receiving a majority of the votes cast shall be the representative to the Council and the candidate who has the second highest number of votes shall be alternate representative. The balloting shall be by single transferable ballot.
