Anthony Richards is District Governor 2012-13 for Rotary International District 3272 North Pakistan & Afghanistan. He is a member of the Rotary Club of Lahore Midtown.

Anthony is the Chief Information Officer of Forman Christian College (A Chartered University) and CEO of Networking Technologies. He is involved in providing planning, implementation, training and consultancy services in Information Technology. He has played a pivotal role in training personnel of national and international organizations like Pakistan Telecommunications Corporation, Pakistan Railways, Punjab Police, Pak German Technical Training Centre & International Irrigation Management Institute to name a few. Anthony has travelled widely for his educational and professional interests.

He is a Benefactor and Multiple Paul Harris Fellow of The Rotary Foundation. He has served as President, Secretary and Treasurer, amongst other club assignments.

Anthony has held a number of Rotary District Assignments which include District Trainer and District Grants Sub Committee Chair among others.

As a member of the District Training Team he has designed, implemented and presented many Training Seminars for incoming Presidents, District Officers, Rotarians and the Community.

Anthony has the honour of representing Pakistan as GSE Team Leader to District 5390 Montana USA.

Anthony has a Masters from the University of the Punjab and has studied Computer Applications and Programming from University of Engineering & Technology Lahore, Networking Theory and Practice from Lahore University of Management Sciences Lahore, Telecommunications from City & Guilds London, Ingress Database Management, Microcomputer Design, Unix, from Ai Electronics Japan, Advanced Fiber Optics from FIS USA, among others.

Anthony is very active in community development. He is a member of the Archdiocese of Lahore, is on the Bethania General Hospital board of governors, Dar-Ul-Hikmat Education Centre board of governors, FC College Board of Directors, Executive Management Committee of St. Anthony’s High School, Advisory Board of The Salvation Army and also an advisor to many Educational Institutions, NGO’s, National and Multinational organizations.

Anthony’s wife Dr. Mariam is a Professor in the department of Obstetrics & Gynaecology at Fatima Jinnah Medical College. They have two daughters Zoe and Sophia. Zoe a young Barrister who represented and won an honour for Pakistan at the Jean Pictet Court competition in France by winning the coveted Gilbert Apollis best Speaker award for Pakistan and is currently a Fulbright Scholar at The Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy. Sophia a student of A Levels is looking to a career in Media Direction & Production.
