Today, on September 4, 2010, a team comprising 7 members from Rotary Club of Peshawar New City in collaboration with ITA Pakistan went to Village Tangi of District Charsadda and village Pashtoon Garhi at Distt: Nowshera.
New ready made clothes were distributed among 1000 children of both the villages. The activity was initiated after the sponsorship of Rotary Peshawar New City, Rotary Club of Peshawar Executives and Rotary Club of Peshawar South for establishing 15 schools at IDP’s camp at village Tangi. Out of these 15 schools, 8 are fully functional with all facilities of emergency education as well sports and well trained teachers.
About 750 students are taking benefits from these schools who are not only engaged in educational activities but are also kept away from various diseases spreading rapidly due to unhealthy conditions.
Yours in Rotary.
