Dear Community Builder Presidents and Rotary Leaders,
Elections for DGN 2013-14 and Representative for COL 2013 were held on the last day of the District Conference (Sunday March 27).
The results were as follows:
DGN 2013-14:
Names of two candidates were mentioned on the Ballot paper. PP Dr. Mansoor ul Haq withdrew his nomination unconditionally on Saturday March 26 before the speeches of candidates for DGN 2013-14.
Thus, Deputy Governor Iftikhar Ahmed was elected unopposed as DGN 2013-14.
Representative for COL 2013:
Names of three candidates were mentioned on the Ballot paper. PDG Rauf Rohaila withdrew his nomination immediately before the balloting. Result of the balloting was as follows:
PDG Suhail Ahmed (53 votes)
PDG M Saeed Shamsi (30 votes)
Thus, PDG Suhail Ahmed was elected as the Representative for COL and PDG M Saeed Shamsi as the Alternate Representative.
